- 2.4 litre water
- 2 tbsps barley (you’ll find this with the dried lentils and peas in the supermarket)
- Juice of 4 lemons
- 1/2 cup sugar
- few sprigs lemon balm or mint
Simmer sugar and barley in water for 30 minutes. Strain and add lemon balm and lemon juice. Chill.
